Manjari Fadnis aka Manjari was born in Mumbai. As her father was an Indian Army officer, she had to move different places along with her family. Manjari completed her schooling in Pune, India. She has a degree in Sociology from IGNOU. She was equally good at studies as well as extra curricular activities. Though her parents never encouraged her, it was her interest in theatre attracted her to the tinsel world. She left her college to take up acting. Later on finished her degree through correspondence. Manjari Fadnis's first break in movies was Rok Sako To Rok Lo (2004).The movie was a flop at the box office. The movie was similar to Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander. She came together with Yash Pandit in the Bengali movie Faltu (2005). She joined other newbies in Mumbai Salsa (2007) and was seen in a cameo in Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na (2008), as Imran Khan’s reel life girlfriend, which was a huge hit. Manjari was in the Telugu movie Siddu From Srikakulam (2008). In 2009, she has bagged a Tamil movie Muthirai and Saurabh Shukla’s I am 24. In September 2009 she signed to appear in a series of Onida television commercials, advertising their varied product lines. Her first 2010 release was the Telugu multi-starrer film Inkosari, whilst her upcoming releases include the K. Vishwanath-directed Telugu film Sumadhuram, Manjari Phadnis has acted in Hindi, Bengali, Tamil and Telugu cinemas.
